ABOUT OUR GOLDENDOODLE PUPPIES
Our Goldendoodle puppies are bred from carefully selected parents so we will have puppies with the best of both breeds. Our puppies are all hand whelped in the house. Our Goldendoodle puppies are vet checked and microchipped before leaving our farm to go to their new life long homes. All of our puppies are sold as family companions only with non-breeding contracts.
We are also breeding mini goldendoodles (25 -40 lbs) and will soon be breeding petite/mini goldendoodles (15-25 lbs). They are the same wonderful, smart and easy to train pup but come in a smaller package!
ONE QUESTION I GET ASKED ALL THE TIME!
Males- They are usually a little more laid back. If you get them neutered at an early age most will not lift their leg and squat like a female.
Females- They are usually a little bit more propective of the home.
There is little difference, they will both make wonderful pets and will give all the loving you can take!!
One of the greatest qualities of the goldendoodle is their ability to easily train. This results from their natural affection and desire to please. Despite this, training is one of the most important things in a puppy's life. When a puppy is fist born it requires most of its attention from its mother. By the time a goldendoodle gets to be 4 or 5 weeks old they become playful and we star playing and socializing with them. Socialization is one of the most important training a goldendoodles can receive. This is where a goldendoodle develops their temperament and this will stay with it for the rest of its life.
Starting from 8-12 weeks old, goldendoodles should receive obedience training at home and then puppy classes when they have received all of their shots. It is here where the goldendoodle pup will learn what is acceptable and what is NOT! It is important that the goldendoodle learns who is boss and gets consistent training but the owner must treat the puppy with respect to acheive the best results. Potty training is also a form of obedience training. You must try to form a schedule for perform the same activity to teach the pup its potty routine. Other simple obedience training areas that may have to be addressed are: nipping, jumping, digging, chewing, and yard boundaries.
With this being a hybrid and not a standardized breed it is important to know that although we will do our best that we cannot guarantee size and coat types in your Goldendoodle. An allergic reaction can still happen so we want people to be aware of the possibilities. We want all of our new families to be happy with their new puppy.
